Stop. Hammer Time.
When playing your tabletop/role-playing game, building your character and experience is all about your class. Finding something that matches your play-style is the key to having fun. In the latest trailer for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, we are shown a couple of more classes that players can use.
In October, we got a look at the Stabbomancer and the Brr-Zerker. They specialize in the dark arts of short blades and icy, smash-y attacks, respectively. Of course those are not the only classes to play as. This week, Gearbox has revealed the Spellshot and Clawbringer.
Again, these two classes are both juxtaposed with their specialties in magic and brute force. The Spellshot, like the Stabbomancer, uses magic attacks. Spellshots can dual-wield spells, so they can mix and match elements and effects. The Clawbringer uses heavy melee weapons. They can use hammers to smash the nearest opponents, but can also throw them for similar effects at a range. Clawbringers also have a small dragon companion, not unlike Mordecai in Borderlands.
From the trailer we saw last week, there will be more than a few different Borderlands characters making an appearance in Wonderlands. We still don’t quite grasp the overall story of the game, but that’s fine. When have players ever really needed a good reason to shoot stuff? Remember that “shoot me in the face” guy?
It is unclear if there will be any more classes to play as. A typical Borderlands game will often have four classes, at least to start with. We will just have to wait and see. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be launching on March 25th, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
