The release of a new Halo game is always exciting. Sometimes, the excitement spreads farther than the gaming community. It is a great opportunity for promotions with energy drinks, snacks, clothing, and even… designer jewelry? Yeah, I guess so. The Halo x Swarovski team-up has made a couple of sweet pieces.
While there is definitely a missed opportunity to “activate this ring on that special someone”, what Swarovski came up with looks really cool. They have made a crystal Energy Sword and crystal Master Chief Helmet. These items are not for sale, but you can win them in a raffle.
In order to get a crystal Energy Sword and Mjolnir Helmet, you can enter with a donation of $10USD, which will go to a charity called Gamers Outreach. Gamers Outreach provides gaming opportunities to children in hospitals across America.
It appears that only residents of the United States are able to enter the contests for the crystal Halo items. The entry dates runs from December 9th to 13th and winners will be selected on December 27th. Unfortunately, this means these won’t be viable Christmas gifts. Also, you shouldn’t be banking a gift on a draw. There are 20 pairs of Swords and Helmets to be won, each pair valued at about $2,340.
Swarovski typically makes items for jewelry, such as necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings, and brooches, as well as watches and decorations. Other collaborations include decorations for Disney and Warner Bros. Halo Infinite comes out on December 8th for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
