Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 2 Adds Point Defense
Cold Iron Studios and Focus Entertainment have announced that Aliens: Fireteam Elite season 2 is out now. Season 2 has free content as well as some new goodies for those who decide to fork over some money.
The highlight of season 2 is the new game mode called Point Defense. This new mode will have your fireteam protect, repair, and hold three different strategic points through multiple attack waves from the Xenomorph hive.
Players may buy temporary consumables to even the odds by utilizing Fabrication Points earned during the mode and can unlock up to 20 new rewards by completing the mode at various difficulties.

- New weapons, attachments, and cosmetics added to the game as Point Defense rewards or at the in-game store
- 2 Head Accessories
- 3 Weapon Colorways
- 5 Decals

If you are really into Fireteam Elite, then season 2 has a lot of new cosmetics for sale if you want to show off your character. If you don’t want to pay, then I feel it offers more than enough for free. The new game mode sounds like a great time and perfectly fits the chaotic nature of Fireteam Elite.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 2 does enough to make me want to go back and try the new mode. It is actually one of my favorite co-op shooters to play with friends, but I haven’t had the chance to play in a bit. This gives me the perfect excuse to go back and play a bit more.
