Activision Allowed Abuse to Run Rampant
Activision has revealed some new information about the campaign of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Itโs World War II. What do you think you do? Thatโs probably right. You kill nazis.
In Vanguard, your squadmates are five soldiers whose individual actions helped turn the tide of World War II across four major fronts: Private Lucas Riggs in the North Africa Campaign, Lieutenant Wade Jackson from the Pacific, Lieutenant Polina Petrova, who defended her home country on the Eastern Front, Sergeant Richard Webb and your leader: Sergeant Arthur Kingsley of the British Armyโs 9th Parachute Battalion. Through Vanguardโs Campaign, you will live out the moments that made them heroes and learn how they came together to spearhead Task Force One. You will also get to know the concept of international โSpecial Forcesโ and, ultimately, what brings them face-to-face with the man who is spearheading Project Phoenix: the ruthless Nazi Officer Hermann Wenzel Freisinger.
Here are the list of actors taking part in Call of Duty: Vangaurd:
- Sergeant Arthur Kingsley โ Chikรฉ Okonkwo
- Lieutenant Polina Petrova โ Laura Bailey
- Private Lucas Riggs โ Martin Copping
- Lieutenant 1st Class Wade Jackson โ Derek Phillips
- Sergeant Richard Webb โ Simon Quarterman
- SS Oberst-Gruppenfรผhrer Hermann Wenzel Friesinger โ Dan Donohue
- Jannick Richter โ Dominic Monaghan
Thatโs all well and good, but letโs not forget that Activision has been sued for workplace discrimination, and Bobby Kotick needs to be fired. His company created a frat boy culture that led to the sexual harassment of women in the company. Letโs not forget the woman who killed herself over such harassment as nude photos of her were shared around. Bobby Kotick ran the company and absolutely knew about the culture and is garbage, or didnโt know and is completely incompetent. Take your pick. His company also tried to shred evidence about the abuse. Something good companies regularly do, of course.
I wonโt forget this abuse. I certainly wonโt be playing any of their games as long as Bobby Kotick is still around.
