Blizzard Entertainment’s Developers Give An Update After Diablo II’s Shaky LaunchÂ
Diablo II: Resurrected brought the fan favorite world of Diablo II back to life, with better graphics and other quality of life improvements. The game officially launched and was well received, with most reviewers concluding that fans of the franchise would enjoy the game. However, as with most launches, the game did have some serious issues with characters losing progress and being unable to login. The developers at Blizzard Entertainment have provided fans with an update on the issue.
It was recently reported that a bug was affecting some players causing their characters to disappear and making them lose their hard-earned progress. The developers then took the game down for maintenance and patched it up. The developers have now provided an update on Day 2 of the journey.
The developers have identified the issue that causes offline characters to disappear and lose progress and are working on fixing the issue of character lockouts. They are also monitoring crash reports around the world and evaluating situations where players cannot create or join game lobbies.
Since then, Patch 9.24 was released. This patch corrected some stability and performance issues such as players crashing upon launch due to audio and controller issues. The patch would also address some bugs and other issues.
Diablo II: Resurrected takes players back to the old era, with remastered graphics but the same classic gameplay. Can you survive the challenges?
