Raven Software Have Released A New Patch That Has Nerfed Some Weapons

Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular games out and a top player in the battle royale genre since its release in March 2020. With a new map and anti-cheat coming upon the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, fans are excited for the new change and hopeful that the persistent issue of hackers is dealt with. In the interim, Raven Software are attempting to balance the weapons in the game. In doing so, they have released new patch notes which may affect the meta once again.

It was only recently that the company announced major changes to the weapons in the game and today, the company has made more significant changes. Firstly, the Krig-6, a true laser beam, now faces increased recoil and its neck multiplier has been reduced. The Fara-83 also had some damages decreases, but increases to its neck, head and upper torso multipliers. The Ak-47’s gun kick has been adjusted while the QBZ-83 sees an increase in recoil.

The Stoner-63, the go-to LMG, has had its recoil increased along with a gun-kick adjustment. In terms of SMGs, the OTS-9, which was very powerful up close, will now have less maximum damage but more minimum damage along with more recoil. The Tec-9 also saw changes to its multiplier.

Besides the changes to weapons, there have been some more bug fixes. There is also an upcoming event from September 21st, The Numbers, which will reward players for investigating mobile broadcast stations across Verdansk with cash, charms and loot.
