Bloober Team Has Released a New Trailer For The Medium Ahead of Its PlayStation 5 Launch
The Medium initially released earlier this year on Xbox Series X/S and PC to much acclaim as a psychological horror game. The game had a strong, interesting story, gorgeous environments and more as players took on the role of a Marianne, who is a medium that sees dead people. In June, Bloober Team announced that The Medium would be creeping its way to the PlayStation 5 later year and earlier this month, the developers released a cool trailer showcasing the use of PlayStation 5’s Dualsense control. At Gamescom, the company released another trailer highlighting key elements of the story and more.
The trailer shows off the game’s protagonists, locations and the Hound, a mysterious entity within the world. The trailer’s score is provided by “Across the Show” and composed by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski, and performed by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
Bloober Team have endeavored to use the PlayStation 5’s Dualsense capabilities to its fullest along with the game’s console hardware. Better gameplay, graphics and more are certain on the PlayStation 5.
The Medium will release on PlayStation 5 on 3rd September 2021. Fans can pre-order it via the PlayStation Store for $49.99/€49,99/£41.74. PlayStation Plus users are given a 10% discount before launch. Pre-order bonuses include the digital Original Sountrack and the Art of the Medium digital artbook.
Koch Media and Bloober Team will also be bringing The Medium to retail on 3rd September for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The Medium: The Two World Special Edition, available in certain territories, will include an exclusive steelbook, soundtrack and printed artbook.
