Sledgehammer Games Have Announced That They Are Addressing Certain Issues In the Alpha And More
Sledgehammer Games, along with Activision, announced that Call of Duty would be making its way back to the battlegrounds of World War II. Since the announcement, fans have been given the opportunity to see various hints of gameplay and an announcement was made that a multiplayer reveal would be made on 7th September. Most recently, PlayStation users were given an exclusive run at the game via the Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha Champion Hill game mode. During the event, Sledgehammer announced certain changes and also added a trios mode.
In Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha, players can play the Champion Hill game mode from 27th to 29th August. The game mode is intended to showcase the game’s full multiplayer component as players go against each other in two v two competitive scenarios. Some keys to victory include communication, teamwork, spending money properly and getting the guns with the best attachments over time. Champion Hill pulls some inspiration from Counterstrike and Valorant with some of its aspects.
As the Alpha weekend nears an end, Sledgehammer announced that they would be introducing trios mode so that players can enjoy it with more friends. Furthermore, the company has noted some of the feedback from fans during the event and would be addressing them.
These changes include visibility when damaging, spawn tuning, map visibility, audio mix tuning and aim assist through walls. Players wanting to leave feedback can do so here. The game uses the Modern Warfare 2019 engine, so the changes and final product will be interesting to see!
