XSeed Games Has Announced That Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle Has Released On The Nintendo Switch
XSeed Games, an independent publisher, has had a plethora of successful games under its belt including Rune Factory, Granblue Fantasy: Versus and more. As the company continues to expand its portfolio across PC and consoles, it has confirmed the release of Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle on Nintendo Switch.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will be available in both digital and physical editions and will launch in Europe on 13th August. The game is available physically through the XSeed Games Store while the digital version can be accessed in the Nintendo eShop. Both are priced at USD$49.99.
Fans who enjoyed the demo on the Switch can carry their progress over to the full editions. Furthermore, both editions include a special promo code that grants two alternate art cards, 10 seer’s globes and cosmetic items redeemable in the PC and mobile versions of Shadowverse. Leader Skin and Battle Pass Premium DLC are both available for purchase.
In Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, players become a transfer student in the Tensei Academy who is quickly introduced to the Shadowverse card game via a school mate. Along the way, you meet some friends and team up with them to master the card game and protect the Shadowverse Club from disbandment before the championship tournament. Players will venture to unique locations around the school and town while teaming up with new friends and defeating foes in a tactical, strategic card game.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle offers over six hundred cards to collect, deluxe battle animations and deck building mechanics that are fun for veterans, but easily accessible for beginners. The in-game hint system also helps new players out with their first moves.
Other features include new animations using the Switch’s capabilities, creating ultimate decks and interesting dialogue across a cast of characters.
