FIFA 22 Gets Career Mode Overhaul With New Player-Created Clubs

FIFA 22 Players Can Now Customize Their Own Team, Stadium, and Music

FIFA 22 fans will be pleased to know that EA will be adding new club optimization options when the much-awaited sports game is released. This new feature will allow players to create their very own club, as well as come up with their own personal design for the jerseys, badge, and stadium.

Fans of the franchise have long been requesting for this feature, and, finally, EA listened and made it happen. FIFA 22 clubs created by the players will be available in Manager Career Mode and will also be playable in any of the game’s leagues. The created club will replace a club that is already existing in the roster.

To begin, the new FIFA 22 Career Mode will let players create a name, choose a preset nickname for commentators to use, and also assign a rival club. Players can also customize their own home and away kits, which will be available in three colours. There will also be tons of pre-made patterns that seem to be heavily inspired by Adidas designs. For the crests, design options are quite minimal—with only one colour choice. The stadium will start off as an unlicensed venue but can be customized with different seat colours, net shapes, and pitch patterns. Players can even add their own goal and walkout music, in addition to special crowd chants.

Fans of this new FIFA 22 Career Mode can even choose the overall star rating for their squad. The squad starts off with generated players, but can easily be tinkered with and replaced. The members of the squad can be tailored to have a more authentic connection with the league being played in.

Alex Constantinescu confirmed this new feature in a statement. “Let’s assume that 7% of the players in the English Premier League have French nationality,” said the EA Senior Game Designer. “Each time a player is generated for your squad in the English Premier League, there is a 7% chance that they could be French.”
