Fans Can Celebrate Two Years of Mayhem As Borderlands 3 Has Some Fun Events For Its Second Anniversary

Borderlands 3 has hit two years old and Gearbox Software are still keeping the game fresh with a ton of content, updates and even the announcement of crossplay earlier this year. With the Director’s Cut, vault cards, raid bosses, missions and more, Borderlands 3 is still a fun game for its fans. As 2K and Gearbox celebrate the game’s second anniversary, they have announced a five week mini-event series to show its appreciation to the community for their continued support.

Borderlands 3 Arms Race

As of 12th August, Loot The Universe returns which gives players legendary loot for finding and shooting the planetary sights. Each week during the Loot The Universe event, a different planet will become the focal point for those on the hunt for loot. Different legendaries will have a higher chance of dropping in one of the planet’s zones. It is important that fans keep in mind the best planet to visit during each week.

From August 12th to 19th, Pandora, the land filled with wildlife and bandits, is the key while in the second week from 19th to 26th August, Promethea, a metropolitan futuristic world becomes the focus. From 26th August to 2nd September, the legendary loot can be found at Eden-6 and in the last week, 2nd to 9th September, Nekrotafeyo is the place to be.

Fans have more fun to savor as from 9th September, there will be two more mini-events that last a week. Mayhem Made Mild will allow fans to enter Mayhem Mode with easy modifiers only and Show Me The Eridium grants increased eridium drops and discounts.

Furthermore, the company has confirmed that there will be one more event closer to 13th September, the game’s birthday, however that will be kept a secret for now.
