Women in Games has launched some new awards this year, meaning that 2021 has a plethora of award categories, all of which are still accepting entries. These awards are open to all women who work in the games industry, participate in gaming and esports, or are involved with education, even as students.
Whether she’s a friend, family, or even a colleague, if you know a woman in the global gaming scene who’s doing something amazing, now is the time to let Women in Games know. And yes, before you ask, you can nominate yourself as well.
There are also award categories open for gender diversity initiatives and organizations, games developed by women, and even a top female gaming protagonist award. They’ll be joining a variety of other award categories, including:
Video Games Awards
- Favorite Female Gaming Protagonist of the Year
- Favorite Game developed by a woman or female team
- Video Games Advocacy Awards – recognizing games organisations advocating for change
