Human: Fall Flat Announces Exciting 5th Anniversary Level Design Competition

Your Idea Could Come to Life as a Real In-Game Level

The hilarious and successful physics platformer Human: Fall Flat is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a competition to design an in-game level. The 5th Anniversary Level Design Competition opens for entries today. Although the game’s 5th anniversary is on July 22nd, players will be able to submit their ideas to the contest until 11pm BST on August 12th, 2021. If you have an idea for an awesome–or awesomely funny–level for Human: Fall Flat, you can build a model, draw a sketch, describe it in text, or even bake a level-shaped cake. Once you have your level ready, you can share a high-resolution image of your creation for the chance to win. Check out this competition trailer for some examples.

Human: Fall Flat already contains a wide variety of creative levels, so you can go as wild as you want when designing a new level. In fact, we recommend you go absolutely bananas, because the judges will be marking you based on the imagination that goes into each entry. The winner will have their creation rendered in 3D and added to the game for players everywhere to waddle, jump, and crash face-first all over in multiplayer or single-player modes. For fans of a cult-classic game about falling on your face and struggling to solve puzzles, there could be no better reward, but No Brakes Games and Curve Digital are adding some extra prizes anyway.

The contest winner will receive an Arctis 7 SteelSeries headset and a SteelSeries Qck+ mousepad on top of having their level brought to life for PC and console players to enjoy. Two runners up will also receive SteelSeries Qck+ mousepads, which should make traversing the winning level on PC a little easier. So come on, what are you waiting for? Start designing your dream Human: Fall Flat level today.
