Avengers Assemble!
Square Enix has just released a beefy free update for Marvel’s Avengers with tons of new content. The update will include the first of the game’s end-game challenges: Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion, and will officially make the highly demanded multiple-heroes feature permanent.
The update will include new team-based challenges, first end-game content of its kind, top-tier difficulty, and high-end gear as rewards. The new Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion will require a full Four-Player strike team and will require at least Power Level 145, however, level 150 is recommended.
The highly demanded multiple-heroes feature that allows any superhero to be used by multiple players at the same time and in the same strike team. The feature is a fan favorite so friends don’t have to compromise in order to play with each other, and it also makes it faster and easier to match up groups.
“End-game multiplayer content like Omega-Level Threat missions and multiplayer Mega Hives are at the top of our players’ wishlists, so we’re excited to deliver this update today,” said Josh Bapst, Project Director for Marvel’s Avengers. “In addition, making the multiple heroes feature permanent means that finding groups will be much faster. There’s never been a better time to play Marvel’s Avengers!”
Marvel’s Avengers is a live service game, with a story that develops and expands over time with the addition of new stories, heroes, and villains. The game is available on PC, PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
