Get Ready For an All-New, All-Virtual E3 2021

This Video Game Industry Showcase is Officially Unveiling Its Plans

There are few gaming events quite as iconic as E3, so when we heard the pandemic had made an in-person meet-up impossible this year, we were all very disappointed. But like so many events before it, E3 2021 has refused to let COVID-19 stop it for long. This year, E3 will be coming straight to your computer, completely for free. That’s right–this year, gaming’s premier showcase event is coming to us all at the lowest price imaginable. They’ve already got early commitments from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, and Koch Media, with more on the way. Looks like this virtual convention already knows where it’s going.

E3 2021

“For more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. “We are evolving this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event, but will still look to excite the fans with major reveals and insider opportunities that make this event the indispensable center stage for video games.”

Sounds good to us! But in the event that you’re not convinced, here are a few reasons why the new digital format and widespread accessibility will make this E3 fantastic. E3’s been a central station for industry networking for a long time, and The Entertainment Software Association is determined to keep that side of things active this year. The virtual event format just means that more people than ever can participate, which means more connections than ever. Besides, who doesn’t love free stuff?

E3 2021 will take place from June 12th to June 15th, 2021.
