Wait A Minute, Octopath Is Coming To Game Pass

Xbox Making Big Moves This Month

Yes the service is getting Outriders and Undertale, but apparently that’s not even close to everything? Yet another Xbox news drop revealed that several more serious hits, including Octopath Traveler, are coming to Xbox Game Pass. Were I an Xbox man, this would be absolutely impossible to resist by conventional means. This is some nuclear bomb-level temptation, here.

Octopath Traveler

To sum it up nicely, Xbox Game Pass is getting Nier: Automata, Undertale, Empire of Sin, Torchlight III, Star Wars: Squadrons, Genesis Noir, Octopath Traveler, Pillars of Eternity: Deadfire, Supraland, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Narita Boy, and Outriders by April 1st. Most of these have occupied a cherished spot on my hype list at one time or another. It’s a crazy list!

As always, a portion of these games will be available on both Xbox and PC versions of Game Pass. Almost every one of them aside from Outriders and Squadrons, in fact. This includes Octopath, which is a JRPG from Square Enix that should be played by more or less everyone on Earth. The fact that it’s hitting Game Pass is a huge step towards this goal. You can read our review of the original game here.
