Stubbs the Zombie Collector’s Edition Has Risen

What a Way to Live

The 2005 cult classic Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse had kind of a rough lifetime, no pun intended… this time. It launched on Xbox and PC, but after being added to Steam and Xbox Live Marketplace, it was removed from both platforms eventually. There was a sequel planned for it, but the developer Wideload had closed its doors in 2014. Flashforward to the present day, Stubbs the Zombie is coming back for modern consoles. Stubbs the Zombie Collector’s Edition is packed with a ton of fun stuff for fans, new and old.

Stubbs the Zombie Collector's Edition

Publisher Aspyr is resurrecting Stubbs the Zombie this year. Pun intended. Those who loved the original can pick up the remastered version on PC and other modern consoles. Fans who are willing to spend some extra cash may want to take a looksee at the Collector’s Edition. It comes with a mounted 9″ head of Stubbs, a 12″ vinyl soundtrack, a Stubbs the Zombie zippo lighter, a set of enamel pins of Stubbs and different body parts, collectible Punchbowl tourist brochures, a Gut Grenade plushie, and three parody Stubbs the Zombies posters. All of these items come in a a collector’s box.

Here comes the hurt. The Collector’s Edition will cost $149.99 USD. It isn’t the most expensive collector’s edition, but it is not cheap. It is available for consoles, but not PC. Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse remastered is expected to come out on March 16th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
