Monster Hunter Themed Nintendo Switch Releasing in Europe and Japan

Nintendo has done many special edition consoles over the years, with the latest being the Red/Blue Mario edition Nintendo Switch releasing alongside Super Mario 3D World + Bowserโ€™s Fury. Well, Nintendo fans in Europe and Japan can now look forward to another special edition as a Monster Hunter Rise themed Switch is also set to release alongside the gameโ€™s launch next month.

The console was confirmed for a European release earlier today by the official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account.

โ€œThis Monster Hunter Rise #NintendoSwitch bundle (includes download code for #MHRise + Deluxe Kit DLC + bonus content) will be available on 26/03, alongside this special edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.โ€

The console is releasing on the same day as Monster Hunter Rise, March 26 and will cost 38,400 yen.

Along with special Monster Hunter-themed dock, tablet, and joy-con, the bundle will also include a download code for the game, plus the deluxe edition and bonus content.


Here is a description of the console

The Nintendo Switch MONSTER HUNTER RISE Edition features an image of Magnamalo, the gameโ€™s flagship monster, on the dock, along with other evocative MONSTER HUNTER RISE-themed designs that adorn the console and both Joy-Con controllers. It also comes bundled with a download code for MONSTER HUNTER RISE plus the Deluxe Kit DLC and bonus content.

Deluxe Kit DLC includes: โ€œKamuraiโ€ Hunter layered armor set, โ€œShuriken Collarโ€ Palamute layered armor piece, โ€œFish Collarโ€ Palico layered armor piece, Gestures (4 Jumps), Samurai pose set, Kabuki face paint, โ€œIzuchi Tailโ€ hairstyle.

Bonus content includes: Palamute Retriever Costume layered armor, Palico Forest Cat Costume layered armor, Novice Talisman

There is also a special Monster Hunter-themed Pro Controller which can be purchase separately at a cost of 7,480 yen. As well as a special Gold Amiibo.

A demo for the game is also available for another couple of days, so make sure to give it a shot before Feb. 1.
