Same Old Farm and Dance
In 2021, XSEED and Marvelous Games are planning on coming out with a new Story of Seasons game. New year, new me and all that. We have a look at what fans’ options for buying the game are and now we have a look at what is in store for players when they do buy the game. Though if you don’t know what Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon is all about, well there are a ton of other farming sims to form an idea from. The new gameplay trailer confirms one thing: it is Story of Seasons.
If the simple kind of life out on the farm has always been your thing, then you will feel right at home in Olive Town, but it also looks just like previous entries to the series. You plant, you grow, you harvest, you build, you court, you marry. The only new element that appears to be in this game is a photography mode. Players can take pictures of animals on their farm and donate them the local museum. There are also some brand new waifus and husbandos for players to marry and start a family with. That’s always exciting.
Though Pioneers of Olive Town seems like a carbon copy of previous Story of Seasons games, almost to a fault, but if this is your jam, then more power to you. Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is expected to launch on March 23rd, 2021 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
