Mileena Thee Stallion
In a couple of weeks, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2 will be released. The biggest draws to the new content are probably Rambo and Mileena. Usually, the guest fighters commands the most attention, but there is something about Mileena that fans just can’t get enough of. As part of an ad, NetherRealm Studios and Megan Thee Stallion teamed up to promote Mileena’s return to the series. You may recognize Megan Thee Stallion for her appearance and rapping talents in Cardi B’s WAP. That came out wrong. Actually, no it didn’t.
Mileena’s purple and black colors stay the same throughout the series, but her costume varies. Megan Thee Stallion’s cosplay most resembles Mileena’s Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 costume. She might have been able to get away with wearing her veil the whole time, but Megan Thee Stallion goes all out with her Mileena cosplay. She gets the whole teeth and demonic mouth thing going, as well as other assets that the mouth usually draws attention away from. The cosplay video is spliced together with a little bit of gameplay, but there’s a whole other trailer for that.
In 2019, Megan Thee Stallion dressed up as Mileena for Halloween, which might have been what sparked the partnership between her and NetherRealm. Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PC, Stadia, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Kombat Pack 2 will be available on all platforms on November 19th, as will Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
