Bows, Bullets, Bombs, and Blood
Next month, NetherRealm will be releasing Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2. This Kombat Pack will be delivering Mortal Kombat classic characters Rain and the highly demanded Mileena, as well as John Rambo making his Mortal Kombat debut. We have seen a gameplay trailer for Rain and now we get our first look at how Rambo will be handling himself against Outworlders in his own trailer. Soon enough, we will no doubt see Mileena in her own gameplay trailer and fans will no longer have anything to complain about.
The trailer opens with Kabal talking smack to Rambo, who he is obviously unfamiliar with. Rambo uses his hunting knife for close range attacks and his bow for mid to long range attacks. He also makes use of a multitude of traps, which seemingly appear out of nowhere, but that’s the nature of a trap I guess. This theme of hidden traps also solves the issue of how Rambo realistically makes use of his arsenal of weapons by pulling them out of camouflaged caches. He also fights against Erron Black and Terminator.
His Fatality is as brutal as you expect, and takes inspiration from 2008’s Rambo. He throw’s his knife into his opponent’s chest, who stumbles backward into a bamboo trap, impaling them. Rambo comes up behind them and literally rips their throat out with his bare hands like in Rambo. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and the Kombat Pack 2 will both be available on November 17th for PC, Stadia, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
