Get it While You Can, Forza Horizon 3 Approaches End of Life Status

Digital Sales to Cease

In case you didn’t know, Forza Horizon 3 has been available for nearly four years. In that time, it’s built an excellent fan base due to its hybrid approach of simulation and arcade driving. Forza purists enjoy Horizon as a more laid-back take on a series otherwise known for being a hardcore representation of motorsports. And less experienced racing enthusiasts can enjoy it as a beautifully-crafted introduction to a deeply nuanced set of games. Whichever side of the fence you land on, if you’ve yet to check out Horizon 3, you have until September 27th to download it.

The good news is Microsoft has Horizon 3 now listed on the Xbox Store with a massive 70% discount. The sale is running for the next 46 days, right up until the open-world racer is to be pulled from online shelves. Regarding the upcoming delisting, the team behind the official Forza Horizon Twitter account wrote:

“Forza Horizon 3 is headed towards “End of Life” status, and we’re celebrating the Australian festival with a sale on the Standard and Ultimate Editions! Visit msft.it/6017TUBPS for all the details! When a game reaches “End of Life,” that means it and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store. However, features like multiplayer and online services will still be accessible for those that own the game.”

The latest entry into Microsoft’s flagship racing series, Forza Motorsport, was announced last month.
