The song is quite infectious, is what I’m getting at. Which makes sense, coming from a video game where characters can catch a literal case of sausage fingers from eating the right insect/food… creature. Video games!
Bugsnax, if you’re still unaware, is about an island full of ambulatory food that transforms whoever consumes it. Not forever, I assume, unless the narrative takes on a much darker tone than the trailer conveys. Said trailer is embedded below, which includes the aforementioned whimsical body horror. The game is coming to both PS4 and the PS5, as well as the Epic Games Store. What better way to teach your progeny about the dangers of eating strange insects? Aside from the super good time everyone in this world appears to be having. Just a total blast, changing fists into full-sized hamburgers.
