Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to Get Valhalla-Inspired Skins

Why Get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at All?

When game series get annual or bi-annual releases, there comes a point where promotion becomes sort of redundant; the next game transcends anticipation and becomes assumed. So, it is kind of weird to see promotion for the next game in the game you are still playing. Like, don’t rush me; I’m still exploring this world! Still, there are ways to do it while still hyping the upcoming game. Ubisoft often does this by adding skins to their games like in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. They have plans to release a new update connecting to Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The update does not explicitly say that the costume for Alexios or Kassandra is used by Eivor or from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but you can tell. It is called the Northern Traveler’s Set and comes with an outfit for both characters. The outfits is made of a heavy armour with fur finishing and a metal helmet that covers the head and eyes. Though Eivor has not been depicted wearing a helmet like this, it is very much from the Viking culture. The set also comes with a two-handed axe. Very Viking.

This update also comes with a few fixes, but if you want the Northern Traveler’s Set, you might have to pay real cash for it, or Uplay points at the very least. The update is live now. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out now for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
