EA Play Delayed Due To Police Brutality Protests

EA Play Gets Delayed By a Week

Recent U.S. protests against police brutality have forced EA to delay its upcoming EA Play showcase from June 11th to June 18th, according to an official Friday statement.

“With important conversations taking place and important voices being heard around the world right now, we’re moving our time to come together in play,” the statement read. EA’s gaming showcase will now take place on June 18th at 4 PM PDT/7 PM EDT and it’ll be streamed due to the current coronavirus pandemic.

EA has yet to give any details about what they’re planning to reveal later this month but the smart money is on new trailers for both the new FIFA and Madden games. There’s also a possibility that the leaked “Project Maverick” Star Wars game will be revealed.
