Up All Night to Get New Super Lucky
If you like platformers, then you may be in luck (pun intended). New Super Lucky’s Tale is coming out on a couple of more platforms. This game has a bit of a strange release so far. Lucky’s Tale was an Oculus Rift game as part of a VR game pack in 2016. Developer Playful then decided to expand the IP with Super Lucky’s Tale in 2017 on Xbox One and PC, which was widely praised for its charm and gameplay. But they were not done there. New Super Lucky’s Tale came out for Nintendo Switch in 2019.
New Super Lucky’s Tale is kind of like a remaster/definitive edition. It includes the two pieces of DLC Gilly Island and Guardian Trials, as well as allows for a fully rotating 3D camera where areas allow. The original release did not support camera control. Now in 2020, New Super Lucky’s Tale is coming out for PS4 and coming back again to Xbox One. Lucky has come full-circle. Publisher PQube announced this via Twitter yesterday.
In case you’ve not heard, we’re continuing to bring Lucky’s adventures to Europe! We’ll be releasing the game physically on #PS4 this summer, and it’s also coming digitally on PS4 and Xbox One! #NewSuperLuckysTale
