See What Happens Behind the ScenesÂ
The highly anticipated sequel to the Last of Us is only a few weeks away. Despite the recent leaks that have a certain portion of the community in an uproar (search for them at your own risk) it still appears as though there is a significant amount of long time fans who are chomping at the bit to get their hands on The Last of Us Part 2. While the amount of gameplay and trailers that we have seen so far have been limited at best, Naughty Dog has just released a brand new video that goes into detail about the complexities and tribulations of creating the gameplay for their latest project.
This new trailer or demonstration is going to be the first of many. Naughty Dog has pledged to release a new “all-access” video every week until the game officially launches on June 19th. What they are going to show off is anyone’s guess at this point. Judging for this week’s trailer, it is going to serve as a great way to better understand the amount of work and time that goes into making a modern video game. Especially one that is such high caliber and cutting edge as The Last of Us.
The majority of the gameplay that we are given is clips of things that we have seen from previous trailers and demos. Hopefully, this will change as we inch closer to June. It is nice to see Naughty Dog reaching out to its fanbase and providing them with fresh content to consume while they are patiently waiting for the real thing. This is something that used to be commonplace back in the day and it is nice to see this format make a return.
The Last of Us Part 2 launches exclusively on the PS4 on June 19th, 2020.
