Mafia 2 Could Be Coming to PS4 & Xbox One
A “Mafia 2: Definitive Edition” entry was recently spotted on the official website of the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea, which is South Korea’s game ratings board.
The listing appeared to have made no mention of platforms and didn’t specify whether the game was a remaster or port but, if this is real, it’ll likely come out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Also, the “Definitive Edition” part of the title implies that this could include all the pre-order and post-launch DLC that came out during the game’s original 2010 release.
Set in 1940s and 50s America, Mafia 2 follows the journey of Vito Scaletta, an Italian American WW2 veteran who returns home to find his family in a lot of debt and his childhood friend, Joe Barbaro, offering fast but dangerous ways to make money by working for local mobsters. In the game’s urban open-world, players can steal & customize a variety of 40s & 50s-style cars and get into shootouts with rival mobsters and cops while using classic guns such as the Thompson submachine gun and the M1 Garand.
