Animal Crossing Dataminers Dig Up Sweet Deets

Lotta Content Coming Our Way, Maybe

Animal Crossing dataminers have uncovered some delicious new tidbits of information, assuming you place any faith in such things. If this is all correct, and it might be, that means there’s spoilers ahead? Be warned, if you’re looking to be surprised, this might not be for you.

It looks like the museum will have some art section upgrades, as well as a couple of standalone buildings. A museum shop and cafe could be on the way, in tandem with the upgrades to existing structures. This would also mean that Gyroids might be coming back. Art dealer Redd may be in the mix as well.

On top of all this art expansion, there’s evidence in the code of new bushes and vegetables. Things like azaleas, hibiscus, holly, hydrangeas, camellias, osmanthus, tomatoes, wheat, sugar cane, potatoes, carrots, and pumpkins. It’s possible that this is just leftover code from cancelled content. We may also be seeing a preview of things to come. Fans have lamented the lack of certain features, and the datamining results suggest that some of these things would be coming back. Take it with a massive grain of salt, but also look out for that Earth Day update.
