The Assassin Brotherhood Is Everywhere
Both Monster Hunter and Assassin’s Creed series are no strangers to crossovers. In fact, they already crossed over before in Monster Hunter World. Now in Iceborne, the Assassins are returning to hunt something other than Templars. In the base game’s event, you may have unlocked the Assassin’s Hood mantle, which is super useful. It allows players to move more quickly and has an increased sneak-attack critical hit damage, so taking out monsters is much easier. The Iceborne X Assassin’s Creed event sees the return of the Assassin’s Hood, but it gets better.
Like, the Assassin’s Hood literally gets better. Starting on April 10th, the Assassin’s Hood can be upgraded. The official Monster Hunter Twitter account tweeted out a short teaser for the event a couple of days ago. It shows a trio of hunters throw on their Assassin outfits, work together to take down a beast, and perform a classic Leap of Faith. The event is simply called “The Assassin”.

Last week, we got word of new DLC for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Between this event, that DLC, and all the other promotions and games out there, you should be set for entertainment during your self-quarantine, wherever you may be. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is out now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
