New PVP is Something Everyone Can Get BehindÂ
The 10 season for Destiny is just around the corner. Season of the Worthy is set to kick off on March 10th. Bungie has just released a brand new gameplay trailer to get the blood of fans pumping. Destiny2 has done relatively well for itself considering that the original Destiny was a game that was considered quite polarizing. Destiny 2 has managed to keep fans sticking around thanks to a reliable amount of content being added into the game through new seasons like this. Season of the Worthy is going to be adding in a ton of new PVP action as well as some story elements too.
Bungie has said that there is going to be a handful of new exotics. They have made sure to be very secretive about what they exactly are, but you can be sure to find some in your adventures. Keep your eyes peeled. The trailer briefly flashes what looks to be a new LMG and Shotgun.
The story of Destiny 2 has never been the main driving force behind the game, but it is still there if you are interested. MMOs have never been the shining example of storytelling, but that should not stop you from having fun with your friends or just blasting away at enemies on your own.
Bungie, the infamous developers that were responsible for the Halo trilogy, have not lost touch with their roots. They are still very much capable of creating FPS games with tight controls and smooth framerates. Destiny might not have become the next Halo, but you can define it tell it took a lot of inspiration from it. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Destiny 2 is currently available on the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia.
