A Collection of Collections
After a surprise Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that a bunch of 2K Games games would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Three different franchises are coming with at least two games in each collection, all on the same day. We got BioShock, we got Borderlands, and we got XCOM 2. You can check out our breakdown of the Borderlands Legendary Collection here. If looting and shooting isn’t really your thing, then you might be more into the other two collections; BioShock Remastered Collection or XCOM 2 Collection.
The BioShock Remastered Collection comes with BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. This mirrors BioShock: The Collection released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC which comes with the three games, as well as Minerva’s Den DLC for BioShock 2 and Burial at Sea for BioShock Infinite. This collection excluded BioShock 2’s multiplayer component. XCOM 2 Collection comes with the base game, the War of the Chosen expansion, and the DLC Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift, and Legacy Ops, which links the events of Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2.
The collection of classic 2K Games games was just a small part of today’s Nintendo Direct. You can check out all the other titles announced on Nintendo’s website. Though these 2K Games collections won’t be coming out for a couple of months, we can certainly spend our self-isolation/quarantine waiting for them. BioShock Remastered Collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection, and XCOM 2 Collection will be out on May 29th on Nintendo Switch.
Which one, if not all, will you be getting? Let us know in the comments below.
