Animal Crossing: New Horizons is inching closer and closer, and then farther, but then closer, day by day. Hopefully, no more delays will impact this game. With a couple of months until its release, we are getting a look at the Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-order bonuses for American fans. Last time on Animal Crossing Pre-Orders, we got a look at the cool stuff that UK, Spanish, and Australian retailers are shipping with the game. Among the items are tote bags, stickers, and key chains mostly, but it appears that Target is giving away something different.
In an image on Reddit, we can see a Target ad for a couple of Animal Crossing items. One is the game pre-order which comes with a journal that has a 2020 calendar in it, and another is an Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with K. K. Slider on it. The controller, to be clear, does not come with the game, but can still be pre-ordered. And the calendar would be a little more useful if the game came out in 2019 like it was originally planned for, but I guess you can still use it for the rest of the year.

The pre-order bonus does not appear to be on Target’s site at the moment, but hopefully that updates soon. Better yet, hopefully this purchase option is extended to Canadian retailers, so fans up North can get this journal as well. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set for a March 20th release date, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
