Red Dead Redemption 2 Expansion is Pointing Towards Mexico According to Datamine

We Now Know Where the Expansion Will Take Place

It seems like it has only become harder for big game companies to keep information safe and sound. Leaks are as prevalent as ever. Almost no game goes through development without having some sort of feature revealed to the public sooner than the developers had hoped. Rockstar has just fallen victim to a new data mine that has unveiled where a new Red Dead Redemption 2 expansion is going to be taking place.

Red Dead Online

Red Dead Redemption 2 allows the player to roam around a totally new and original map as well as most of the map from the first game. However, there is one thing missing from the original map. Mexico. In the first RDR, you are able to roam around the deserts of Mexico and take part in numerous missions and other mischievous activities. The Mexico portion of the game is actually one of the most important. This is where Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to take players in the new map expansion.

The data mines suggest that there is going to be a large expansion later on down the road. However, any idea of a date is yet to be known. But most people are speculating sometime next year. There was also evidence found that pointed in new snowy areas as well. Some have said that this is proof of some sort of Christmas event that Rockstar has up their sleeves.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been one of the most highly praised games of the decade. Metacritic recently released a top 50 games of the 2010s and both Red Dead games placed in the top 10. Hopefully, the new decade is not in short supply of new content and other goodies for the game.
