Found Guilty of Being Badass
On the heels of the announcement of the new Guilty Gear game, Arc System Works announced that it will be releasing a dual-pack of the series for North American Switch owners. Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack (which the 20th anniversary was last year) will be coming to North America “soon”, so it might not even be this year, but 22nd Anniversary Pack doesn’t sound as good. Still, even if you’re not a fighting game fan, the gameplay and soundtrack of Guilty Gear is sure to get you hyped.
The 20th Anniversary Pack (when it was the 20th anniversary) was released in Japan and certain European countries. Now, it’s on it’s way to North America. It is comprised of physical copies of the original Guilty Gear as well as Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R. Don’t ask what all those additional parts of the title mean; just know that it means it has more content with every letter. It actually denotes something similar to a version update. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is a branch of the Guilty Gear X2 game. The Nintendo Switch version is different from the other platforms by having added the option for the South Korean soundtrack, which sounds awesome. You can hear some of it in the trailer below.
Other than the two games, the pack also comes with a steelbook, a commemorative coin, and a Sol Badguy headband to wear at the local arcade. Again, no official release date, but someday soon you can hold it in your hands.
