Pre-Order Bonuses Offered, Too
Rumors have been swirling, but now it’s official. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PC, and soon. In an announcement by Rockstar, there is even extra incentive to buy RDR2 through the Rockstar Launcher. Starting on October 9th, customers who “pre-purchase” the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version through the Rockstar Launcher will be given bonuses such as two free Rockstar games and in-game rewards for RDR2. Well, tie my arms and call me a psychopath, that sounds like Rockstar is adding yet another launcher to list for PC players.
Their launcher is not the only way to get RDR2, though it is the place to get it earliest. You can also purchase it on the Epic Games Store, Humble Store, and later it will be available on Steam in December, though you will not get the same bonuses. If you get it through Rockstar, you will be able to select two of the following games for free: GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, LA Noir: The Complete Edition, and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.
As far as the in-game rewards go, purchasing through the Rockstar Launcher will get you an Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode, War Horse for Story Mode, Treasure Map for Story Mode, Cash Bonus for Story Mode, and 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. Now, for the news PC players have been waiting for: Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on PC on November 5th.
