Leak Estimates The Sims 4 Discover University Expansion Is on the Way

Post-Secondary Simducation

For a while, there had been rumors circulating within the Sims community of an expansion that will allow your Sims to pursue higher education. Now, an expansion for The Sims 4 called Discover University has apparently leaked on the US Xbox Store. There had been previous leaks that The Sims 4 Discover University expansion would release on the PC as early as November 15th, but according to the new leak on the Xbox Store, it will release on December 17th, at least on consoles. The commonality between leaks has been the title, all but confirming the DLC.

The Sims 4 Discover University

According to the description of the DLC, Discover University will allow your Sims to attend one of two rival schools: University of Britechester or Foxbury Institute. These two schools are located in a new area called Britechester. The expansion contains all the opportunities that real university offers: various classes in all sorts of areas of study, dorm life, school spirit, and extracurricular activities, but don’t count on the whole experimental drug and casual Woohoo! phase. While most major DLCs occupy upwards of 1 GB, this expansion only takes up 10 MB on Xbox One.

It is not too surprising that The Sims 4 has university DLC; both The Sims 2 and 3 have similar expansions revolving around post-secondary education. Remember, when you’re discovering university, go to class or your grades will slip. Take it from your ol’ pal Zane. Discover University will be available… soon? The PC leak says November 15th and Xbox leak says December 17th, so we’ll see.
