Are the Devs Behind Hitman 2 Making Another Hitman Game or Something Else?
Hitman 2 developer IO Interactive and the game’s publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, announced on Thursday a new partnership for a new game for PC and consoles.
The announcement didn’t specify whether this game was Hitman 3, a new IP, or a new game in another IO series such as Kane & Lynch or Freedom Fighters. However, this upcoming project requires IO Interactive to have more manpower since the studio’s CEO, Hakan Abrak, said in the announcement that his studio was currently hiring for its offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden.
Earlier this year, there was some mention of a Hitman 3 in a YouTube documentary about the franchise and IO Interactive. It is possible that this newly announced game could be another Hitman game but that hasn’t been officially confirmed.
