The highly anticipated game, Death Stranding from Hideo Kojima, is just around the corner. The hype surrounding this game could not get any bigger. The mysterious atmosphere that the game has given off in its trailers so far has been able to captivate audiences like nothing else. Fans are obviously excited, but some are a little bit impatient. Rumors have surfaced that major Death Stranding spoilers have been circulating around the internet.
While spoilers are nothing new, it is not very common that they come about before the game launches. This has been the case for other high profile shows and movies. In the case of Game of Thrones, for instance, the final season was leaked weeks before it aired. While it was largely thought just to be a big troll job, the leaks did turn out to be (unfortunately) correct.
Now that we live in a world that is so heavily connected via smartphones and the internet, leaking information or finding information that would have been impossible to get a hold of only 15 years ago is now easier than ever.
Death Stranding is only one week away from release. So you won’t have to wait long. But in the meantime make sure you’re extra careful when you’re browsing social media or sites that are likely to ruin the story. The leaked story could turn out to be totally fabricated, but why take the risk?
So if you are tempted to scroll down to take a peek at some YouTube comments. Don’t do it.
Death Stranding will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 1st, 2019.
