Minecraft Earth Is a New, Different Minecraft Experience
Minecraft Earth is a free upcoming augmented reality Minecraft game that’ll be available on iOS 10 and Android 7. The early access period of the game starts in October and pre-registration for early access has started for Android users.
Going by what’s explained in a press release, Minecraft Earth seems similar to other mobile AR games such as Pokémon GO. Players can “fight mobs, collect resources and experience points to progress, delve into others’ creations within your vicinity, and collaborate with friends to create masterpieces together!”
There’s also Tappables, which are collectables that can be building blocks, enemies and more along with a crafting mechanic that has “been optimized for mobile play to provide an optimum experience on the go.”
