Troy Baker Takes Hype Levels up a Notch for the Last of Us Part 2
Without a doubt The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the mostly highly anticipated titles coming down the pipe and that’s against some major titles like Cyberpunk 2077 too! While it’s been speculated that the game will be released sometime early next year, Naughty Dog has yet to confirm this. What they have been really great about however, is increasing the hype levels exponentially with every new tidbit of information we receive. This time though, it’s none other than Troy Baker who adds fuel to the fire of anticipation.
While speaking at a panel at Manchester Comic-Con, Troy Baker, who plays Joel in the Last of Us, had a few things to say about The Last of Us Part 2. He has recently stated that the sequel is “the most ambitious game Naughty Dog has ever done,” and now he’s gotten everyone’s hopes and dreams up about the game even more than they already were. So what did he have to say? According to Baker we’re just not ready for what’s coming. “There is nothing about this game, nor the reveals, that hasn’t been one hundred per cent carefully crafted and methodically curated. All I can tell you is that as much as you’re clamouring for it, you’re not ready.” Thankfully someone posted the video of Baker on Reddit, which you can check out right here.
As it stands right now it’s rumored that The Last of Us Part 2 will be released in February 2020. Fingers crossed that Naughty Dog will let us know the release date soon.
