FIFA 20 Career Mode Will Bring All New Dynamic Potential, Player Morale, and More

Big Changes Coming to FIFA 20 Career Mode

FIFA as a franchise has frustrated its fanbase to tears. Let’s be frank, EA Sports is not exactly known for being the most innovative bunch out there. Fans of the soccer game have routinely voiced their concerns about the FIFA franchise. But they have mostly fallen on deaf ears. The fan’s complaints of the game remaining the same every year are not unfounded. To remedy these issues, EA is trying to implement new changes to the game. Some of these biggest new additions will be in career mode.

FIFA 20

Career mode has probably gotten the least amount of love over the past years. So this year’s release is going to have fresh and exciting mechanics for it.  Player potential is a big focus this time around. In previous years, player potential was a vague and nebulous feature in the game. It was very hard to tell what actual impact it had on the game itself. For instance, if an older player like, Wayne Rooney was picked up by your club, his potential never comes into effect despite the fact the guy is on the verge of retirement. And then if a young gun was picked up by your team and had tons of potential, he would have the same impact on the field as the old geezer who’s been playing for 20 plus years.

It made no sense, so EA has changed that to have a more realistic feel on the game.

Another cool addition is player morale. You will have to keep your superstars happy if you want to get good results on the pitch. Unhappy players will not perform as well. Some might even ask for a trade or leave your team all together. You will have to be very diplomatic if you want to win.
