Borderlands 3 is only 27 days, 7 hours, 48 minutes and 12 seconds away from release, but who’s keeping track? Anyway, publishers and developers like to keep fans informed about what they will be potentially buying. Not just in terms of what the game is, but what bonus rewards, content, and goodies they can get by purchasing different editions of the game. You just want the base game? Cool. The Standard Edition is for you. We have already covered what comes with the Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe Editions of the game, but now we have info on what comes with the Borderlands 3 Collector’s Edition.
Obviously, the Collector’s Edition comes with everything that the Super Deluxe Edition comes with, so I won’t bother summarizing it. Just click the link above to check it out. Please. The content exclusive to the Diamond Loot Chest Collector’s Edition is all physical. It comes with a Diamond Loot Chest Replica, 10 Borderlands 3 Character Figurines, Sanctuary 3 Snap Model, 4 Vault Key Keychains, a Cloth Galaxy Map, and 5 Character Art Lithographs. The Borderlands 3 purchase page gives a bit more of a detailed description, but it is still a little vague.
The Diamond Loot Chest Replica is likely what appears in the image above. It is a black Dahl chest, normally green in the games. The 10 Character Figurines include the four Vault Hunters Moze, Zane, FL4K, and Amara, as well as the Calypso Twins. That leaves four figurines who we do not know about. Each figure is about 3.5″ in height. The Snap Model of Sanctuary 3 can be put together by hand and displayed on a stand. No dimensions are listed. The Keychains are pretty self explanatory. The Cloth Galaxy Map is likely to depict the map that the Vault Key has shown the Vault Hunters. And we all know what lithographs are, I’ll say it anyway. They are like paintings or drawings, but printed on solid objects like metal plates. The Lithographs will have character art on them.
Here’s the hurtful part: the price tag. All this costs $249.99 USD. [Crying] Borderlands 3 comes out on September 13th on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Which edition are you getting?
