Some New Black Ops 4 DLC Could Help Out Military Veterans Who Are Looking for Work
A new Black Ops 4 DLC for the game’s Blackout mode, “C.O.D.E. Jump Pack”, is launching on PS4 today. According to a press release, all of the proceeds of the pack (which includes a new parachute, wingsuit, and trail) will go towards the Call of Duty Endowment, an organization that “helps veterans find high quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the workplace.”
“C.O.D.E. Jump Pack” will eventually be available on other platforms.
There’s also a new “Night Raid” PS4 dynamic theme that’ll be available today and costs $2.99 USD. The proceeds from its purchase will go towards the Call of Duty Endowment and buyers in the US will have the option to donate more money to the organization.
The artist behind this new dynamic theme is a US Marine veteran of the Iraq War, Max Uriarte. Uriarte spoke with the Activision Games Blog about creating the theme and gave his thoughts on the Call of Duty Endowment.
“Not only am I a big Call of Duty fan and gamer,” Uriarte said, “but the work the Call of Duty Endowment does is great for the veteran community and I was happy to be involved in any way I could be.”
