TERFs Ain’t Got No Friends
Voice actors aren’t always as cool as the characters they portray. Sometimes you find out that the one in the booth is actually a card-carrying lunatic. On the other hand, sometimes the voice actor is as cool or cooler than the person they play. Case in point, Roger Clark, AKA Arthur Morgan of Red Dead Redemption 2, was recently seen speaking out for Trans Rights.
It’s a short clip on Twitter, but it gets the point across. Clark puts on his best Arthur Morgan voice, smiles at the camera, and delivers three simple truths:
- Be beautiful to each other
- Trans people are people
- TERFs ain’t got no friends
Trans rights can always use more defenders, and voice actors come with a lot of public visibility. It shouldn’t be a controversial stance to come out for any form of human rights, but these are strange times we live in. Red Dead Redemption 2 is out right this second for PS4 and Xbox One.
