Devil May Cry Finally Comes to a Nintendo Console
Dante’s Big Day is coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer according to the game’s 4th sequel’s official Twitter, but it won’t be bringing any of the other titles with it.

There’s no official release date yet, but the news does come a few months after series’ director Hideaki Itsuno called on fans to request the franchise come to Switch and held a port hostage behind Dragon’s Dogma sales. Lo and behold, 18 years later, the first game will be coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console.
It’s worth noting that in the Dragon’s Dogma sales squeeze, Itsuno did say that if it sold well, they would consider porting DMC 5, not the game that is now old enough to drink in most countries. But, I digress. Hopefully, this will be the start of a beautiful relationship resulting in Dante coming to Switch. They could have just brought Dante to Switch and everyone would have been happy, but whatever.
In the meantime, you can play all of the Devil May Cry games in 60fps on PC, PS4 and Xbox One via the HD Collection, and their individual releases. Let us know what you think in the comments!
