The Borderlands 3 Story Will Be at Least 30 Hours If You Rush It

Last Time on Borderlands…

After the Vault Hunters 2.0 defeated the Warrior and stopped Handsome Jack’s evil plan. A secret concerning the other Vaults were revealed. A map of sorts showing a bunch of different Vaults was shown hinting at an interplanetary journey. Though the main action of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel took place before Borderlands 2, in the “present”, an Eridian being stopped Athena’s execution and spoke of a “war” that was coming. Space stuff and war stuff is a lot to work with. If you are looking to spend a lot of time with the Borderlands 3 story, you will not be disappointed.

Borderlands 3 Story

The gameplay reveal Gearbox held on May 1st showed off quite a bit. Other news sites and influencers had their own hands-on experience with the game as well. With some getting as much as three hours with Borderlands 3, its creative director Paul Sage says that it will take much longer than that to complete, even if you focus on the main story missions. “If you beeline it through, and I mean beelining it through, it might take you 30 hours to complete the main story,” Sage said. That sounds real good to me.

No doubt that there will be the Borderlands new game + (and ++) Ultimate Vault Hunter and True Vault Hunter mode. Plus, if you want to experience the game with ALL four Vault Hunters, that’s about 480 hours. You could spend 20 days in this game. 20 DAYS. And that’s if you skip the side missions. Boy howdy, that’s a lot of running and gunning. Borderlands 3 will be out on September 13th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
