Retro Studios Now Hiring for Metroid Prime 4

All Hands On Deck

While we will be seeing a ton of Nintendo games at E3, Metroid Prime 4 is sure to be AWOL this year. After the game’s development got scrapped and restarted, Retro Studios took over the project. Now, they’ve put out an ad looking for development staff.

Metroid Prime 4 Rumors

In other words, don’t expect to see this one anytime soon. On the other hand, the series is back in the hands of Retro! For fans of the previous entries, this is terrific news! Perhaps one day, in the distant future, we’ll see this game for real. In the meantime, we know almost nothing about it.

That means absolutely nothing, by the way. Since the game’s announcement two years ago, all we’ve gotten is a single title card. Now, it looks we’ll be waiting for at least another year before we see even a screenshot. Unless Retro Studios works at record-breaking speeds, it’s going to be a good while before anything tangible is seen of Metroid Prime 4. Until then, maybe Nintendo and Retro could bring the previous titles to the Nintendo Switch? I’m sure the fans would be over the moon, or at least they’d forget about how long they have to wait.
