Put Out Those Fires Or Quickly Expire
The team at Petroglyph have released some delightful new footage for their upcoming RTS title. This latest Conan Unconquered video gets right into the meat, gristle, and goo of gameplay. It seems like there will be a lot of horrible surprises in store every time you play. But like, horrible in a fun way.
When fighting off hordes of monsters and malicious opponents, you want to watch out for enemy attacks, sure. But what about fire? What about disease? What about tainted food and water supplies? Conan Unconquered looks to keep you on your toes, while threatening constantly to lop them off. It’s the kind of fun that feels a lot like panic.
The aforementioned video is embedded below. You get a good look at the gameplay, as well as some of the team members getting their clocks cleaned by their own malevolent creation. It’s nice to know that there’s a challenge involved even for the devs. Other features shown off include heroes and avatars, the latter of which are mindlessly efficient in their destructive ways. So, summon them away from your own men, in other words. Conan Unconquered is coming to the PC on May 30th, 2019.
