Windjammers Continues to Make Ultimate Frisbee Look Cool
After bringing the original Windjammers to modern platforms over the past couple years, developer Dotemu is hard at work on making sure the sequel is the most energizing ultimate-frisbee game around.
Dotemu also gave us an update on what kind of gameplay improvements to expect from this sequel:
Competitors can incorporate all-new jumps, smashes, and slapshots into the all-out performances they put up on the court, making Windjammers 2 a true elevation of the series’ style of action so revered it’s found a home among the fighting game esports community.
There’s also two brand new characters named Grace and Max to join in on the Windjamming action. The developer also confirms that this is an alpha version of the game so who knows – perhaps more new characters and mechanics are still to be revealed! Windjammers 2 doesn’t have a release date yet but it is set to drop sometime later this year for PC and Nintendo Switch. Dotemu is also currently hard at work on Streets of Rage 4, which also doesn’t have a release date, so hopefully we hear more about that soon as well! Let us know what you think in the comments!
